On Wednesday 6th July, the RHS Language Department was visited by a total of 105 Year 5 students from Bilton Junior School. The children participated in various activities, created by a group of year 9 and year 10 Language ambassadors, in order to improve their French. For example, they learnt days of the week and months, food and healthy eating, animals and describing people. It was a successful day, with all the teachers commenting on how enjoyable and educational the day had been. It was a great experience to work with and teach young children, and also gave us an opportunity to revise our French! We would like to thank Ms. Martinez for organising this fantastic event and the teachers of Bilton Junior School for helping this day to go smoothly. Faiza Kamal and Kathryn Jones (9H)
