The school is currently working on the GCSE ICT in Years 10 and 11 for the very last time! The Year 10 in September 2009 will start a new ICT course called 'OCR Nationals'. This will allow us to offer a much wider range of self-contained units, which will be far more interesting and be more flexible than the GCSE in ICT. We also hope to be able to offer units that cut across departments so pupils see a real, practical purpose to the skills we develop. In addition, we are also looking at offering the course in the Sixth Form. This is an exciting period of change and we are all looking forward to it.
