Welcome to General Studies.
General Studies is a subject taught from AS level. A broad range of topics are covered, allowing students a selection of different subject materials, enabling them to broaden there knowledge about a range of world issues and current affairs. Many students find they begin to develop an interest in areas which they may not have had the chance to study. It also continues to develop highly valued study and communication skills.
This qualification is excellent for preparation for both employment and higher education regardless of field, where a range of problems and conflicting perspectives have to be considered and reconciled.
